# Argos API

> Argos returns product listings, prices, ratings and nearby store stock as a workflow and API.

Argos searches products by keyword and optional sort order, returning names, prices, ratings, review counts and product links. Check store stock needs a product and UK postcode to return price, delivery details and collection availability at nearby stores.

## Methods

### Check store stock

Operation `check_store_stock`, version 1. 1 credit per completed call. Failed calls without a completed billing receipt are free; completed work can remain charged if delivery is interrupted.

Check an Argos product’s price, delivery availability and collection at stores near a UK postcode. Returns up to 10 nearby collection stores; Argos does not expose a verified 20-store result or a separate low-stock indicator. Delivery cost is the product’s displayed starting charge; actual checkout charges may vary.

### Search products

Operation `search_products`, version 1. 1 credit per completed call. Failed calls without a completed billing receipt are free; completed work can remain charged if delivery is interrupted.

Search Argos UK products by keyword in the selected site order, with prices, ratings and links. Delivery and collection availability are not displayed until a location is supplied on the site, so they may be missing.

## Quick start

Replace `YOUR_API_KEY` with a Fous API key. To create one, open Developers at the bottom of Fous Studio, turn on Developer mode, then go to API keys (https://app.fous.com/keys). Change the values in `input` to run the same tool on new data.
