# Bluesky API

> Bluesky profile details and public posts are available as a workflow and API.

Bluesky’s Get profile method returns public profile details and needs a handle, profile link, or bare name. List recent posts returns an account’s latest public posts and needs a handle or profile link; replies and reposts are optional. Search posts finds public posts by words, with optional sort, author, language, and start date filters.

## Methods

### Get profile

Operation `get_profile`, version 1. 1 credit per call.

Look up a public Bluesky profile by handle or profile link, including its bio, audience counts and join date. A bare name first checks its .bsky.social handle, then the top relevant people-search result. Missing profile fields are null.

List an account’s latest public Bluesky posts, newest first. Replies and reposts are excluded unless requested; repost times refer to when the account reposted.

### Search posts

Operation `search_posts`, version 1. 1 credit per call.

Search public Bluesky posts for words, optionally ordered by latest or top and filtered by date, author or language. Returns up to 100 matching posts; search indexing may lag behind new posts.

Or describe the data in plain language: send `{"api":"@bluesky","prompt":"Describe the data you need, with every detail"}` to the same URL. Fous fills in the input, runs the method that fits and returns only the fields you asked for; `data.route.calls[].request` is the exact call it made. Routing is free; the run costs the same.

No. Fous is not affiliated with Bluesky. This workflow reads the public bsky.app website and returns its data.

### Do I need a Bluesky account?

No. You only need a Fous account.

### How current is the data?

Fous gets the data from bsky.app when you run it; repeating the same request within a day may return the saved result. Fous checks this workflow automatically; it last passed a check on Sep 29, 2026.
