# Google Play API

> Google Play returns Android app listings, reviews, search results, and chart rankings as a workflow and API.

Google Play, also called Google Play Store or Play Store, returns public app listing details when given an app name or Play Store link. Get app reviews returns public user reviews for an app name, Play Store link, or app ID, with optional rating, country, and language filters. Search apps finds listings by keywords, while List top charts returns ranked apps by chart, country, and category.

### Get app

Operation `get_app`, version 1. 1 credit per call.

Get a public Android app listing by name or Play Store link. A name is matched against Play search; version and data safety reflect what the public page shows.

Get public user reviews for an Android app by name, Play Store link, or app ID. Reviews may be unavailable for some apps or regions.

Operation `search_apps`, version 1. 1 credit per call.

Find Android apps by keywords in Google Play search order, with each listing’s price, rating, downloads, and link. Results are limited to apps shown on the public search page.

No. Fous is not affiliated with Google Play. This workflow reads the public play.google.com website and returns its data.

### How much does it cost?

Each run costs 1 credit. With pay-as-you-go, a credit costs 1¢; monthly plans cost less per credit.

### Do I need a Google Play account?

No. You only need a Fous account.

### How current is the data?
