CoinGecko (coingecko.com) has 4 public methods: get coin price on date, get coin price history, list crypto categories and list trending coins. Each costs 1 credit per completed run (1¢ with pay as you go); failed runs are free.

4Gets a coin's price, market cap and 24-hour volume at 00:00 UTC on a past date. Non-USD currencies are available only for the last 365 days.

Readcoingecko.com/get_coin_price_on_dateGets a coin's daily prices and price change over the last 7, 30, 90 or 365 days, with UTC dates. Today's price may change.

Readcoingecko.com/list_crypto_categoriesLists up to 15 of the most-searched coins on CoinGecko in trending order, with price and 24-hour change in the chosen currency. Non-USD prices may be unavailable for some coins.
