Yearly open, high, low and close use daily closing prices for Dow Jones, S&P 500, Nasdaq and copper; gold, silver, crude oil and natural gas use monthly closing prices. Inflation-adjusted value is the final adjusted monthly close for each year where published. The current year may be incomplete.
